As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Product Engineering team at Camco Technologies. You will be responsible for the entire mechanical development process of new products.
In this role, you will take ownership of your designs and oversee them from concept through validation and release for production.
You will work on multiple R&D projects simultaneously and have final responsibility for the mechanical design of your products. You will work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Embedded Engineers, the production department, and the R&D technician.
Your Responsibilities

• Preparing test reports, datasheets, and technical reports.

• Implementing improvements to existing products based on test results, feedback, and production experience.
In this role, you’re not just a designer—you’re the owner of your product, and you do much more than just technical drawing.
You will manage projects entirely on your own, from the concept phase through design and documentation to testing and release for production.
This includes material selection, testing, optimization, and production support.
You will report directly to the Product Engineering Team Lead.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in product development and product design (beyond just drafting).
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor or a similar program.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of materials and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience designing for mass production.
• Hands-on mindset.
• Highly precise and structured approach to work.
Personal Qualities
You are:
• Ownership-driven and take responsibility for your designs.
• Practical and not afraid to test or assemble products yourself.
• Analytical and solution-oriented.
• Creative in devising technical solutions.

• Independent, but knows when coordination is needed.
• Results-oriented and entrepreneurial.
• Permanent contract
