Your position

Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys working independently and building strong relationships with customers? We are looking for a local Service Technician to support our customers in the Port of Antwerp, including one of the largest container terminals in Europe.

You will become the trusted on-site technical contact, ensuring our systems and equipment continue to operate reliably and efficiently.

Your role

  • You work daily on fixed customer sites within the Port of Antwerp and build a strong relationship with the customer.

  • You independently perform maintenance, service interventions, commissioning and repair works on our installations at customer sites in the Beveren region.

  • You analyze technical issues and solve problems independently and efficiently.

  • You carry out your work according to safety regulations and quality standards.

  • You provide clear and accurate reporting of completed interventions.

  • You manage your own spare parts stock and visit the HQ (Leuven) approximately once a week to collect or return materials.

  • Together with colleagues, you also assist with installations, testing and commissioning of new systems.

Your profile

  • You hold a technical A2 degree in electricity, electromechanics, industrial maintenance or a related field.

  • Previous experience as a service technician, maintenance technician or installer is a strong asset.

  • You are solution-oriented and able to work independently.

  • You are flexible, hands-on and practical in your approach.

  • You follow procedures, technical instructions and safety guidelines accurately.

  • Affinity with networking and PC systems is considered a plus.

  • You have strong communication and administrative skills.

  • You are willing to participate in an on-call rotation: 1 weekend out of 3 available for emergency interventions between 08:00 and 17:00.

  • You hold a valid driver’s license (category B).

  • You have an excellent command of Dutch.
